What is DePIN?
DePIN stands for decentralised physical infrastructure networks: physical infrastructure such as sensors, radio stations or GNSS reference stations is operated in a decentralised way and coordinated through token incentives. For onocoy we built such a network: a real-time backend in Go, smart contracts, and global scale through Kubernetes.
Do you have experience with Bitcoin applications in production?
Yes. For Relai we built a broker backend of 17 microservices in six months that handles the buying and selling of Bitcoin, with connections to exchanges, banks and a credit card gateway.
Do you build pure smart contract projects too?
Yes, provided there is a viable business model behind them. We develop and test smart contracts on EVM-compatible chains and on Solana. For purely speculative token projects with no technical foundation we decline; in the end that protects both sides.
Does my project actually need a blockchain?
Often not, and in that case we say so. A database with clean permissions beats a chain in almost every case where all parties trust each other. A blockchain earns its place where independent parties have to be coordinated without a central authority, as with onocoy’s station operators. That check is the first step of every blockchain conversation we have, and it is why our blockchain projects hold in operation what the pitch promised: Relai and onocoy have been running in production for years without incident, and both case studies are documented in full on this site.
